What is C-PACE Financing?

The Commercial Property Assessed Clean Energy program, or C-PACE, is a 10-year-old, underutilized financing tool that gives owners of commercial, industrial and multi-family properties access to long-term fixed-rate financing for energy efficiency, water conservation and renewable energy projects. 

C-PACE funds provide upfront capital with 100 percent financing for qualified improvement, often with terms up to 30 years. The resulting energy savings and reduced operating and maintenance costs typically exceed the amount of the assessment payment and often contributes to a positive cash flow to your operating budget.

Dr. Snyder has more than 20 years of experience in financial services and was one of the nation’s first experts in C-PACE funding options. Before joining Ebee, she led alternative financial initiatives at the Toledo-Lucas County Port Authority, working to develop C-PACE funding options in partnership with leaders across Ohio, one of the first states in the nation to offer these options. Her passion for community has led her to serve in volunteer leadership position.
